Clarissa Kaye-Mason as 'Marjorie Glick' ("Salem's Lot",1979) (1931-1994) |
Although her role was very small, Clarissa Kaye-Mason made quite a memorable impact as the "dead" mother of the infamous, vampire "Glick Brothers" in the 1979 TV Movie, "Salem's Lot."
Based on the 1975 best-selling novel by Stephen King and directed by Tobe Hooper, the film also starred Clarissa's husband; the legendary James Mason. Although, they appear in no scenes together in the film, the same can not be said for the couple in the 1973 TV Movie, "Frankenstein: The True Story", where they can often be seen together.
Just as a bit of interesting trivia: Clarissa Kaye-Mason (aka, Clarissa Kaye) was related to Belinda Carlisle of The Go-Go's, and also appeared in the role of "Mrs. Kelly" alongside Mick Jagger in the 1970 film, "Ned Kelly."
