I saw Frankenhooker at a film festival in New Orleans back in, I suppose, 1990. I think I saw it once more, on VHS, and I could have sworn that it was a different edit that I saw in the theater. I don't know whether or not that's true, but I've never watched it since. Now that it has been released on blu-ray, maybe someday I'll get around to seeing it again, as I assume that whatever version is available on that format is the best one we will ever get.
The main thing that I remember is that I laughed a lot, and that I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Also, I am quite pleased that I own the one-sheet for it.
